Penryn lays directly adjacent to Falmouth.
Flushing and Falmouth beaches are only a few minutes drive away. Penryn is one of the oldest market towns in Cornwall. It used to be the main port on the river with a thriving trade in fish, tin and copper. Penryn's charming high street and sideroads display a wealth of fascinating historic architecture with buildings dating back to Tudor, Jacobean and Georgian times. Glasney Valley lies only a stone’s throw away offering wildlife, bridges, ancient woodland, streams and the old Glasney Viaduct.
The town centre of Falmouth offers a good variety of cafe’s, bars and shops to enjoy as well as the National Maritime Museum.
